When you enter a name or location into a search box, the query passes to the outside provider that operates that tool. Lancaster County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages Sent to Us
If you email us or use a contact form, we retain the message long enough to review it and respond. We do not share the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data Collected Automatically

Once you follow a link, that destination's privacy terms govern. Government disclosure is also subject to applicable law, including the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act and its exemptions.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select interest-based ads. Their collection does not occur on systems controlled by this site.
